Studio Sjas Patat respects your privacy. This page explains which personal data I process, why, and what you can do if you want something changed or removed.

Contact by email
When you email me, I use your name, email address and the content of your message only to reply and, if we work together, to carry out the project and send invoices. I keep this correspondence for as long as needed for the project and for the statutory retention period for business records.
Website statistics
This website uses Google Analytics to see how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and from which country. Google Analytics places cookies for this, but only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. The data is used only to improve the website and is not used to build profiles or for advertising.
Photos of people
My work includes photos taken at sports events, such as football matches and cycling races. People who appear in these photos can always ask me to remove a photo from this website. Send an email with a link to or description of the photo and I will remove it as soon as possible. Requests concerning minors, for example youth players, are handled with priority.
Shop
Products in the shop are sold through Etsy and Redbubble. When you order there, your order is handled by that platform under its own privacy policy. I only receive the details the platform shares with sellers to fulfil the order.
Sharing with others
I do not sell personal data. Data is only shared with parties needed to run the website and the business, such as the hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) and Google Analytics, or when the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to its use. Email hello@sjaspatat.com and I will respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your request, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
